Images of Parabens

Parabens, commonly used preservatives, are raising concerns due to evidence of estrogenic and other harmful effects (Penrose & Cobb, 2022).

Methylparaben is a type of paraben that is used in a wide variety of personal care products, ranging from makeup and hair care products to shaving cream and deodorant (National Center for Biotechnology Information, 2025).
