The databases below have excellent reference sources for your current event assignments. Be sure to filter your search results to reference articles only. 

Limiting to Reference Sources in ABC-CLIO Databases

To limit your search to reference articles in ABC-CLIO databases:

  1. Choose the Advanced Search option beneath the search box. 
  2. In the Library section, select Reference Articles.
  3. Enter your search terms in the search box.

Limiting to Reference Articles in Gale Databases

To limit your search to reference articles in Gale databases:

  1. Choose the Advanced Search option beneath the search box. 
  2. Under the header for Search Limiters, go to the Content type section and select Reference.
  3. Enter your search terms in the search box.
