U.S. History: Current Events Assignments: 3. Put together your CE assignment

A one-page, double-spaced in Times New Roman 12 point font following the sophomore writing guidelines containing three paragraphs: 

1. Paragraph 1 - Summary of the news article
2. Paragraph 2 - Summary of the reference article 
3. Paragraph 3 -3-4 sentence reflective paragraph

Formatting Page Numbers 

To add page numbers in Google Docs, do the following:

1. In your open document, Click Insert in the top left corner
2. Select Page numbers, then More options.
3. In the Position section, select "Header" and deselect "Show on first page".
4. In the Numbering section, be sure that 1 is in the box.
5. Click Apply.

Remember:

• Arabic numerals should be in the top right corner of your essay.
   

• The Title Page counts as page one, but no number should appear on it.
   

• The body of your essay is the first to have a page number, and it should be 2.

• Export directly from NoodleTools to avoid formatting issues
   

• Starts on its own page
   

• Bibliography is centered at the top
   

• Citations should be in hanging indent format
   

• Single-space each citation, double-space between citations
